Sam Altman-backed World has launched an AI-powered proxy identity toolkit that integrates with the Coinbase x402 protocol.

Odaily Odaily reports that World, a Web3 identity solution powered by Sam Altman, today announced the release of AgentKit, a developer toolkit for the x402 protocol. This tool allows World-verified users to authorize their World ID to AI agents, enabling these agents to prove they are "backed by real humans while protecting privacy" on websites and platforms. World ID is a cryptographic mechanism that proves a user's unique identity. Through AgentKit, a user's autonomous AI agent can demonstrate its authenticity to platforms when making payments, accessing services, and performing other actions. The x402 protocol, developed by Coinbase for AI agent payments and transactions, had already processed over 100 million payments at the time of its V2 release. (The Block)
