Not obsessing over charts cos for conviction plays my minimum hold time is around 3 months. When I size in on a conviction, I’m not thinking about the next candle, I’m thinking about where it could realistically be a few months from now. Zoom out and ask yourself a simple question: Where could this be by June if the narrative, community, and liquidity all line up? That’s the only timeframe that matters to me right now. Then when June comes, reassess with a clear head. If the thesis is still intact, you hold or even add. If something changed, you recalibrate expectations and act accordingly. Constantly staring at the chart in the short term just messes with your conviction. For these kinds of plays, you need a longer lens or you’ll talk yourself out of the position before the move even has time to happen
