Gold hit $5,595 in January and is still up nearly 60% from a year ago, while Bitcoin has dropped from $84K to $70K over the same period. We have seen this pattern before.

Today, gold is around $4,835 per ounce and Bitcoin is at $70K, putting gold's total market cap at roughly $32 trillion compared to Bitcoin's $1.4 trillion, a 23x gap.
Capital moves into gold first because it is the safe haven. Once risk appetite returns, it rotates into Bitcoin. That is exactly what happened in 2020, and the current setup between the two looks very similar.
