- I started making this while coding with YouTube playing in the background, testing whether I could move the entire wiki to the CLI. - There isn't a specific reason for making it. It's fun, and I want to test out various SLT-based TUI design patterns. - However, after building it, I discovered a large number of markdown render issues, so I completed a simultaneous library update. Also, when testing TUIs, I use tmux to retrieve rendered results for comparison—though not quite E2E—but it seems this method can't retrieve colors. I think this might be a problem worth solving as well. - In particular, during this process, I am realizing that rendering images in the terminal, as well as videos, is difficult in many ways. Position calculations are a bit tricky for compatibility with Kitty, Sixel, etc. The best alternative is a method that renders them somewhat like a mosaic. There are differences in the protocols provided by each terminal, and so on... - I recently saw an AI-native terminal based on iTerm2 called Ghostty.
