Watched this video and it’s keeping me sleepless now… - #TeraFab is designed to move beyond traditional terrestrial AI to a “galactic” scale. - Two types of chips TeraFab will produce: - AI5 (Tesla) / A16 (Optimus) for edge inference; - D3 radiation-hardened chips (SpaceX AI): integrated into Starlink V3 satellites to host orbiting data centers, using space vacuum for cooling and constant solar power for AI training and inference in orbit, bypassing Earth’s energy and heat limits (this is insanely visionary🤯). - Chip volume: 100 to 200 billion chips per year. - Goal: over 1 terawatt of compute annually (1 TW = 1,000 GW). - Split: A : D = 20% : 80% This is the wildest thing in 2026 so far.
