As a school that made the NCAA Tournament, we would have loved to share more content - and we even invested in the ability to do so. That said, I also understand how media rights work and the significant investments these companies make to secure them.

NEW: Teams aren't posting many (if any) game highlights during March Madness.
On X, they're posting GIFs or stick-figure drawings. On IG/FB, they're limited to just 1 minute--or forced to pay thousands.
The reason: March Madness content licensing rules.
