National Data Administration: Will further implement a new round of action plan for building high-quality datasets.

On March 24, Mars Finance reported that the State Council Information Office held a press conference on the 9th Digital China Summit. Liu Liehong, a member of the Party Leadership Group of the National Development and Reform Commission and Director of the National Data Bureau, stated at the conference that the next step will be to continue promoting data-driven innovation and development in artificial intelligence, and to collaborate with all parties to implement a new round of high-quality dataset construction action plans. These plans include six special actions: strengthening the foundation and expanding capacity, tackling annotation challenges, improving quality and efficiency, empowering applications, managing services, and releasing value. Driven by scenario needs, the plans will accelerate pilot projects to create technically feasible, practical, convenient, and quality-assured AI-Ready high-quality datasets, thereby improving both the quantity and quality of high-quality dataset supply.
