According to ChainCatcher, Musk stated that the planned "increase in the exposure weight of X creators' regions" has been suspended and will be further considered.
Previously, Nikita Bier, product manager at X, disclosed that the X platform would be adjusting its creator revenue-sharing incentive mechanism starting this Thursday (March 26), with a focus on increasing the weight of exposure from the creator's home region. This adjustment aims to encourage content that resonates with users in the creator's home country, neighboring countries, and those speaking the same language, while reducing the incentive for creators to specifically optimize for traffic from US or Japanese accounts, thereby promoting a more diverse content ecosystem on the platform.
