According to a Bloomberg report on March 25, Franklin Templeton announced a partnership with Ondo Finance to launch tokenized ETFs that can be traded directly in crypto wallets, enabling 24/7 trading and breaking through the limitations of traditional brokerage accounts and trading hours.
The product covers asset classes including US stocks, fixed income, and gold, and will initially launch in Europe, Asia Pacific, the Middle East, and Latin America. Its rollout in the US market still depends on further regulatory clarification regarding on-chain distribution of registered funds.
