Interesting to hear these alarms while the biggest number factorized by Shor algorithm was probably 21 by far. It’s good to do post-quantum cryptography if the algorithms carry other advantages though. But I feel that exploration of quantum computing may lead us to some scientific breakthrough more fundamental than “hacking Bitcoin” while being unable to hack it. Time will show, but instead of hacking things we will instead much better understand how Universe works
