💬 We get asked Can I stop a running strategy or close a position manually if I want to? ❕ Answer from a GT App Specialist: Yes, you always stay in control! Our interface provides two main buttons for managing your active strategies: Stop and Close Deal. 🔸 Stop vs. Close Deal Stop: Pauses the strategy. It won’t open new deals, but lets the current one finish its logic. Close Deal: An immediate manual exit from your position at market price. 🔸 A common beginner mistake Beginners often use Close Deal during small dips and exit in a loss. For example, they see a price drop and close manually instead of letting the strategy work. In many cases, the strategy is designed to handle these dips using Safety Orders (DCA). Often, it’s better to check your min. balance and let the strategy complete its cycle to exit in profit. 🔸 When to go manual? Manual closing is useful for unexpected news or if you’ve already reached your profit goal and want to secure it early.
