❤️ I'm digging into BASE now. Since Base announced its 2026 roadmap, they've been releasing all sorts of news. Yesterday, the x402 Foundation launched under the Linux Foundation; this initiative aims to make web payments a standard protocol, just like HTTP. I previously wrote an article about x402, so I recommend reading it if you aren't familiar with it. Anyway, if you look at the Foundations, you'll see Coinbase, Base, Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Stripe, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Shopify, Cloudflare, Circle, Solana Foundation, Polygon Labs, KakaoPay, and others involved. You've all seen them, right? Since I don't really have anything to do besides writing anyway, and I don't think doing weird stuff would make me any money, I made a decision. To become a BASE fanatic.
