Not adding a paid post tag on X ≠ not monetising your audience.
This is ironic. Just saw this from a 300k follower account.
“Bro, I am not monetising my audience on X. I don’t need money and you will get everything organic.”
He did a paid post yesterday and did not disclose it (I had the deal on my end, so I know it was a paid post). The same guy is running two Telegrams: one open for everyone, used to shill undisclosed deals, and one paid Telegram for trading calls.
Just because you now have to disclose on X, stop the nonsense. Also add the paid tag next time you post a paid post.
This space deserves better. We are in a new era now. I won’t tag the account, as it is Friday and I promised myself I would be more vegetarian in Q2.

I had this case before. However, since I use Typefully, I need to add the disclosure manually a few hours later (the post goes out at midnight local time, and I add the disclosure in the morning when I wake up).
What surprises me is that scheduling posts natively via X has a similar problem. Even though you set it for paid disclosure, you still need to add it manually later.
