Only God knows the details of why he created Adam (humans) and why he made a trial for them to choose the best among them. But we know how he wants us to be because he says that in his books. Furthermore the attributes that he wants us to have, he describes himself as the one who has those attributes. For example he wants us to be merciful, he says he’s the most merciful and so on. The angels who do everything that God says without denying anything, ask God in the Quran why he created Adam although his kids will shed blood on earth God answers them by showing them Adams ability to learn and choose with his free will. Now logically, if God wanted to have a being that has its own will and chooses between good and evil, but he only wants those who are good, he would have to create them with the full memory of what good and evil is. Means they would have to experience that. That’s what’s happening on earth right now, we’re experiencing Good and evil and can choose. What’s happening right now until the day of judgement is a creation process. God is creating his chosen humans. Those who don’t pass the test are destined for punishment for the evil they did.
