Update #SCAM from @PortaltoBitcoin The @PortaltoBitcoin project has been sued in class action at the Delaware State Chancery Court, USA. Case number: CA No. 2024-1129-NAC Application date: November 7, 2024 Plaintiffs: Jonathan Chitty & Conor Stapleton (representing all investors holding Convertible Note). The main allegations in the lawsuit are: - Raised over $31 million through debt instruments in 2021 but failed to repay principal and interest when due on December 31, 2022. - Forcing investors to convert debt instruments into worthless shares, and then further forcing them to convert them into $PTB Token . - Lie outright in the email, stating that "Notes has no right to reclaim the principal amount." - Lack of transparency regarding received funds, failure to provide evidence of "majority agreement to the conversion". - When investors inquired, they refused to provide information and threatened to sue in return. The lawsuit alleges the project committed crimes including breach of contract, fraudulent enticement to sign contracts, and illicit enrichment.
