U.S.-Israeli Strikes Leave at Least 9 Civilians Dead in Iran, Activists Say

U.S. and Israeli strikes have resulted in the deaths of at least nine civilians and scores of injuries across Iran over the past 24 hours, the Human Rights Activists News Agency said on Sunday. The group recorded at least 272 attacks in 14 provinces on Saturday, with at least 184 people injured or killed. Tehran saw the highest number of strikes, followed by the provinces of Khuzestan and Isfahan. The targeted Iranian facilities include petrochemical complexes, an army aviation base, a military airport, an air base and military garrisons, the group said. Saturday's deaths bring the total number of Iranian civilians killed in the conflict to at least 1,616, according to the group's tally.
