According to Foresight News , citing Xinhua News Agency, an Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson said that the United States has presented Iran with a comprehensive package of proposals and hopes that Iran will "accept them in their entirety." The spokesperson stated that the United States is well aware that "this is impossible" and that it does not conform to the logic of negotiation and dialogue. The spokesperson added that previously, Iran, through Pakistan, submitted 10 ceasefire clauses to the United States in response to the so-called US "15-point plan" for a ceasefire.
The spokesperson stated that Iran, with the participation of the Persian Gulf littoral states, is fully capable of ensuring security in the Middle East, provided that the United States ceases military intervention and provocative actions. Any intervention from outside the region will only complicate the issue. Many European countries have wisely chosen to "avoid falling into a US military trap."
