Yeah, it's called covid.
We get it as a seasonal flu now because dumb people didn't mask up enough to eradicate it.
It's a bad flu, much more chesty, and with a horrifically sore throat.
Importantly, it isn't hantavirus, and it isn't as multi-system damaging as early covid strains.
It's still not good, but each cycle it is losing more and more of its ability to have long lasting multisystem impacts.
It's still worth avoiding.

Something very bad is spreading across the USA right now.

“This ain’t no normal flu bug.”
“Miserable for days.”
“I haven’t felt this terrible in a very long time.”
“Throat is like swallowed glass.”
