According to Foresight News , blockchain detective ZachXBT stated on his Telegram channel that the suspected thief, Dritan Kapllani Jr., transferred approximately $2.59 million (1.99 million DAI and 259 ETH) today from an address starting with 0x4487d to an address starting with 0x67ec1 via three transfers. The funds are currently still held in that address.
Previously, on May 12, ZachXBT released an investigation revealing that Dritan Kapllani Jr., a U.S. threat actor, conspired with Trenton Johnson to commit a $19 million cryptocurrency theft through social engineering. Dritan has been listed as a co-conspirator (CC-1) in Trenton's criminal complaint but has not yet been formally charged.
