A US court rejected Kalshi and Polymarket's request to suspend their lawsuits in Nevada and Washington.

According to a Bloomberg report on May 22, the U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that Kalshi and Polymarket could not prevent enforcement lawsuits against the prediction market platform in Nevada and Washington from proceeding in state courts. The court stated that Kalshi and Polymarket failed to demonstrate that responding to the lawsuits in state courts would cause "irreparable harm," and also failed to demonstrate a high probability of success in their claims regarding jurisdiction in federal courts. Therefore, the court rejected their request to suspend the relevant state-level lawsuits.
