U.S. initial jobless claims for the week ending May 23 came in at 215,000, versus expectations of 211,000. The previous reading was revised from 209,000 to 210,000. U.S. core PCE price index rose 0.2% MoM in April, below the 0.3% forecast and prior reading of 0.3%. On a YoY basis, April core PCE increased 3.3%, in line with expectations, versus the prior 3.2% reading.
