[Blockchain Today Reporter Kim Jae-min] 'CRETA', a high-performance public blockchain Web3-based multiverse platform, and 'MAWARI', a leading company in the field of cloud rendering and streaming technology, officially announced a partnership in September 2023.
Creta will integrate Marwari technology into its platform and apply the innovative possibilities of augmented reality (AR) experiences within the metaverse, which is expected to be an important watershed for the extended reality (XR) and Web 3.0 industries.
Thanks to the collaboration between Crete and Mawari, you will now be able to enjoy AR versions of characters and worlds in all interconnected metaverses within the Crete ecosystem. Creta, which is recognized as a next-generation platform at the forefront of metaverse game production, is the first platform to utilize Mawari technology to expand its service range to augmented reality for the Korean and global markets, and is an industry leader in cloud rendering and streaming technology. Wari will provide the technology necessary to implement AR experiences within the platform.

Creta, located in Dubai (UAE), is a global multiverse platform that aims to overcome the limitations of existing metaverse content through a high-performance public blockchain Web3-based multiverse platform.
Creta is building a large-scale multiverse that can interconnect and expand various metaverses, and is implemented with realistic visual quality based on Web3. Anyone can easily create high-quality games and generate profits through Creta Studio, Creta’s game production tool. Creta plans to launch the Multiverse Closed Beta Test (CBT) service in December, and the early access service of 'Super Club', a web 3.0 community that integrates all services of the Creta platform, is also scheduled for October.
Marwari Network is a decentralized 3D and XR content delivery platform that solves the bottleneck of infrastructure supply for real-time rendering and the lack of local computing power for XR devices. This is implemented by coordinating a decentralized network of GPU-based nodes running a proprietary technology stack called the Marwari Engine. These technologies make it possible to render and efficiently stream interactive 3D content in real time to mobile XR devices at scale.
“We are excited to collaborate with Mawari to expand the Crete experience to mobile platforms,” said Rei Nakazato, CCO of Creta. “Together, we aim to lead the global Web 3.0 entertainment sector,” he said.
“We are very excited to partner with Crete,” said Luis Oscar Ramirez Solorzano, founder and CEO of Mawari. “Being able to efficiently stream consumer-grade content to multiple XR wearable devices simultaneously is essential for XR’s 1 “This is a trillion-dollar opportunity,” he said. “Combining Crete’s photorealistic visual quality with Marwari’s XR streaming technology can make this a reality. “This partnership is monumental and will be a major step forward in shaping the future of the Web 3.0 gaming and XR industries.”
Meanwhile, Marwari's core technology, a Silicon Valley-based leader in cloud rendering and streaming technology, has been proven in the market with repeated success in the XR industry with more than 40 deployments globally to date.
