Followin has officially launched its OIO point system, kicking off the Season 1 event named OIO Genesis, which will run for three months. Users can earn OIO points by participating in activities and completing tasks. Existing users can check out their initial point balance in the Followin App as their past behavioral records have been retained.
OIO points serve as vital credentials for tracking and incentivizing user behavior on Followin. In the future, the platform plans to distribute airdrops based on OIO holdings.

How to Earn OIO Points?
Users participating in the event can earn OIO points through 6 activities:
- Connect Wallet
Connect a cryptocurrency wallet within the app to earn 20 OIO points(1-time reward).
- Add to Favorites
Add a project to the favorites list to earn 10 OIO points (1-time reward).
- Link Twitter Account
Connect a Twitter account within the app to earn 10 OIO points (1-time reward).
- Invite Friends
Invite friends to register using the referral link and complete their initial app login to earn 50 OIO points (unlimited).
- Share articles
Share 3 articles with your friends, and if the shared article link receives user clicks within the following day (T+1), you'll earn 10 OIO points (once per day).
- Read articles
Read 10 articles on the APP to earn 10 OIO points (once per day).
Followin keeps a complete record of user referral actions and establishes a referral incentive system. Inviters can earn additional OIO rewards when their invitees finish tasks to get OIOs: direct invites earn an extra 20%, and indirect invites earn an extra 5%.
For example, if Alice registers through Bob's referral link and earns 100 points after completing tasks, Bob can earn an additional 20 points as a direct referral reward. If Alice then invites Tom to register and Tom earns 100 points for task completion, Alice can earn an additional 20 points as a direct referral reward, and Bob can earn an additional 5 points as an indirect referral reward. Therefore, Bob receives a total of 25 additional points, while Alice receives 20 additional points.
User Notice
It's important to note that OIO tokens can not be transferred between users at this moment and can only be obtained and used after registering a Followin account. Any Followin OIO tokens obtained by users will not expire until potential further rules are announced in the future.
To protect the interests of genuine users, Followin will detect and penalize any fraudulent or false user behavior. For violators, Followin might deduct wrongfully obtained points, restrict certain functionalities, or even suspend their accounts. The following behaviors will be against our policy:
- Reverse engineering or hacking the current system.
- Faking real devices, including using emulators or cloning software for mass registration.
- Violating app usage rules on devices with root access.
- Controlling multiple accounts in bulk to acquire and transfer OIO.
- Engaging in other unfair hacking behaviors.
