Everyone's talking about Zhang Xue because he accomplished what seemed like an "impossible task." It reminds me of another extraordinary person, Alex, who free soloed El Capitan and Taipei 101. I've seen interviews with both of them, and what impressed me most were their perspectives on their early experiences. Many people see "success" as an outcome; but before success, there's always necessary sacrifice and endurance. For example, "I want to earn this much money, I want to build this kind of company, I want to be famous"—before achieving these goals, I can endure pain, I can persevere, I can even disregard my own humanity and push beyond human limits. These two extraordinary individuals clearly don't think that way. When they talk about their early experiences, their eyes light up with immense joy. Essentially, a seemingly "impossible task" is difficult to accomplish through sacrifice and endurance alone. We're all human; how can we endure suffering day after day, year after year? The fundamental reason they could persevere is because of passion. Success isn't an isolated result; it's actually a process of first finding what you love, and then naturally achieving it.

Unemployment caused by AI, economic downturns, and government policies. They're all essentially the same: external shocks that don't always appear in the way you expect. Watching documentaries about Japan, during the economic downturn of the 1990s, civil service exams became incredibly popular. Many young people shifted their focus from dreaming of making money in corporations to hoping for stability within the system. And then what? Japanese civil servant salaries continued to decline, while work pressure continued to rise. You can foresee that the civil service exam wave in China will follow the same path in the future. In this world, we can't control anything except ourselves. I used to envy people who settled down in one industry after graduation, feeling they were constantly accumulating experience. I, on the other hand, kept starting businesses and frequently changed industries because I never truly believed in stability. For a time, I was very confused about what I was doing: a businessman? A professional entrepreneur? Now I have a clearer understanding and am more at peace. In a turbulent world, it's actually these kinds of people who adapt more easily, who never believed in stability or that security could be provided by a particular government, a particular profession, or a particular person. I believe that as long as you always maintain curiosity and the ability to learn and adapt quickly, and follow opportunities, the results will not be too bad.
