In this email sent by Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong found in the Epstein files, he refers to the topic in this video. "We are working with a number of teams behind the scenes to help ensure the protocol keeps scaling and is not held back by any of the early idealists". The "we" in this sentence is a group of people led by none other than Roger Ver. I am in no way making a claim here to tie Epstein with Coinbase, but it goes to show that the "powerful" people (Roger's coalition) tried to hijack Bitcoin - and spectacularly failed.
