When people I used to think of as friends are saying "I deeply regret my interactions with Jeffrey Epstein." All I hear is "I deeply regret GETTING CAUGHT hanging out with Jeffrey Epstein. Ditch your crisis PR teams. Own what you did. Try to find forgiveness, even from yourself, and dedicate your life to helping those that you previously, monstrously, used and discarded because they were powerless. It was never a hard choice to not have anything to do with that person.

For anyone keeping track: It took gold over 5,600 years to hit $1,000/oz for the first time, in 2008, amid the worst financial crisis in US history. Meanwhile, gold prices just rose +$1,000/oz in 28 days. But don't worry, fiat currencies are completely fine.

My only advice to CEOs this year.. Hire tinkerers. Make it high status. Find ones that will explore the edges and (ideally) naturally gifted at teaching people. Empower them to freely roam across the org and fix large problems that can be automated. All your execs will complain that these tinkerers don’t understand scale or systems (rollout being a favorite word). Listen, and ignore them. Or even better give them budget to hire a tinkerer to achieve their targets. Give these tinkerers ambition, purpose and hard targets and watch them fly.

I had a mentor John Yi at Coinbase and the best thing he ever taught me was being comfortable asking dumb questions. It makes sure you're on the same page as everyone before moving on and you learn. I was insecure asking but I'd see him constantly do it and it normalized for me
