"I burnt this much on fees during season 1"
Horrible strategy.
Quick math:
$1m of the $12.2m prize pool was funded by OpenSea, meaning 91.8% came from 50% of our trading fees
If everyone receives a prize representative of their volume, we'd each get back 54.5% of our fees spent
So if you swapped tokens back and forth or bought NFTs and sold for a loss... I got bad news for you
You're essentially spending money on lottery tickets in the hopes of winning more than what you put in
Your goal should be to trade and remain in the green pre-rewards
Some comments I've gotten to that remark are "I don't have the capital to trade"
If that's the case, you definitely don't have the capital to be burning it on fees in hopes of winning a punk against 400k other traders
If you did burn fees doing this, there's still a Brightside, as your volume and Treasure will count towards an eventual $SEA airdrop
If you plan on playing season 2, do it smart. Stay in your lane, ignore other people's rankings and look for profitable trading opportunities.
