📌 STRATEGY QUIETLY TRANSFERRED $5.1 BILLION BTC TO FIDELITY?
MSTR has previously kept most of BTC in Coinbase Custody. In the past two months, data from Arkham shows that it has transferred 58,390 BTC (~5.1B USD) to Fidelity Custody - a large traditional US custodian.
This is not @Strategy selling BTC.
Fidelity uses an omnibus storage model, meaning BTC from many customers are pooled together.
That's why on Arkham, MSTR's BTC portion is no longer under the “Strategy” entity, but is shown under “Fidelity Custody”.
This is a fairly normal move by large organizations when they want to diversify their custody and reduce their dependence on a single party.
