Samson’s post is eloquent and wise. It exemplifies the kind of stewardship bitcoiners deserve and revere.
Until this problem arose, bitcoiners held core developers in the highest esteem.
But one cannot honestly have high regard for the unworthy and unfit. And the unfit cannot be trusted to do work they are intellectually and behaviourally incapable of doing.
That’s what this has come down to then: The unworthy stewards now being hoisted on their own petards as we discerning bitcoiners simply refuse the product cast upon us and instead opt for one crafted by responsible, respectful, and dutiful providers who place the stewardship of bitcoin above petty ambitions.
Satoshi was Mozart. Today’s core devs are Salieri. Jealous, untalented, stupid, and vain.
The choice is simple and obvious.
