I disagree with the camp that says IBRL is the only thing that matters. IBRL gets us very far, but consistent and verifiable ordering is table stakes for the future of perpetuals (the most valuable market in crypto). Market makers need consistency to quote (they told me). If they don’t quote, or only quote sometimes, spreads and liquidity stay shit. Comparing perps to spot is generally retarded. If the spreads could be the same, they would. But alas, they are not. Why? No ordering guarantees.

Funny enough, with the rise of centralized chains and corpo chains, Solana and Ethereum are closer to alignment than any time in history. Despite how we each define decentralization, we agree that blockchains need to be decentralized, permissionless and censorship resistant.

Can I say something without everyone getting mad? Solana founders historically were warriors and would do anything to win. Too many teams got comfortable, vesting or whatever. I don’t disregard anyone’s efforts, but today there is too much entitlement. You are owed nothing,
