Arbitrum has just urgently frozen 30,766 ETH ($71M) held on Arbitrum One in connection with the Kelp DAO #5PC hack. While AAVE, LayerZero, and Kelp DAO blamed each other, Arbitrum froze the hackers' funds. This ETH was transferred to a locked intermediary wallet. The hacker has now lost access, and only the Arbitrum governance community can decide where this money goes. Arbitrum stated that they have coordinated with law enforcement and identified the hacker. They have also conducted a thorough review to ensure that no other users or applications on the chain have been affected.
