2/ We've build new systems that can scale much better to meet our customers needs and they no longer require Surge. We learned a lot building Surge, but the future of Lightning requires much more of us.

1/ Stephen summarized this better than I could, haha. He's exactly right. We aren't depreciating this because there's not enterprise demand to need it. We are depreciating this because our enterprise demand has sky rocketed so hard that Surge is no longer sufficient.
