Why isn't it too late to launch a subnet on Bittensor now? This might be the path with the highest ROI for AI entrepreneurs right now. Three years ago $TAO Before it even took off, with the support of the @opentensor foundation, I created Bittensor's first incubator, inviting almost every AI portfolio to build a subnet. At that time, there were only 12 subnets. Yesterday, Chamath chatted with Jensen Huang on the All-in podcast about the decentralized training of @tplr_ai #sn3, and Huang praised it as a "crazy technical accomplishment." The result $TAO was a direct 20% surge, with Sn3 performing even better. This made me realize that these dedicated Bittensor builders, without tokens or value discovery, are finally entering the mainstream and starting to reap rewards. Having worked in institutional primary investment for 5 years, I've clearly noticed the market changes: 1. Primary investment is no longer as attractive; the cycle is too long. 2. ALTS (Alternative Tensor Investing) is ignored; most deals are just quick profits. 3. Listing on new tokens is too uncertain. 4. For companies genuinely interested in building a business, a lack of users leads to a lack of cash flow, preventing further fundraising and ultimately, token listing. BitTensor, on the other hand, provides a decentralized intellectual network. You can bootstrap on day 1; if you perform well, your earnings will be high, and your utility will be directly monetized. In short: launching a subnet now puts you in the most lucrative position in AI Crypto.
