Tbh, I have always been torn between two theories about the banksters behind Bitcoin Core: 1. They wanted to become large centralized Lightning hubs to earn on fees. 2. They didn't care about making profit: the goal was to destroy Bitcoin. Now I'm positive it's the latter 🤔

I think it’s more clear now what we always knew - Blockstream a for profit company subverted Bitcoin to advance their second layer solutions to milk Bitcoin for everything they could.

Hey Wownero, it's your chance to shine! Monero developers are doubling down on crippling their chain by capping the throughput at a mere several million transactions a day, possibly forever. Dogecoin is not only about the memes: it's actually being actively used by traders and other businesses for transacting when the small-block coin known as Bitcoin is congested. Wownero can be not only about the memes too! How Wownero can succeed: 1⃣ Stay as much API-compatible with Monero as possible: it must be easy for businesses using Monero to add an alternative chain or make a switch. 2⃣ Fix the network packet bug used as an excuse by Monero developers to put a cap on the block size. Remain true to the original "No, it does not have a hard block size limit". 3⃣ Win!

Today's sad state of "crypto": 1. A somewhat major and supposedly decentralized network (Cardano) suffers an outage because someone who calls himself "krypto n00b" "accidentally" vibe-codes an exploit. 2. The network's CEO: "I'm calling the FBI". 🤦♂️🤪 twitter.com/nikzh/status/19920...

Cool! `getTransactionsForAddress` is something that is missing from virtually every node API. If you want to list the most recent transactions for an address on Bitcoin or Ethereum, you have to scan the entire chain. This change allows building "databaseless" explorers.

Ethereum is down not because it switched from PoW to PoS, but because it moved away from scaling L1 in favor of fragmented custodial L2s. twitter.com/nikzh/status/19130...
