Here's a less popular point of view: I've recently observed many unemployed friends starting to trade and practice arbitrage. While this is an understandable way to save oneself, given the current overall industry downturn, it's not a good time to do this. 1) A large amount of liquidity has been withdrawn, leaving little room for speculation; even if you win, you won't reap huge profits. 2) In a bear market, the risk to capital increases exponentially, and excessive trading can easily wipe out the principal originally intended for buy the dips quality assets at bargain prices. TL;DR lacks consistent positive feedback, making it easy to doubt oneself and miss out on valuable buy the dips. In a bear market, one should be an observer, watching more and acting less. Spend less real money testing the market, observe new trends, and seize opportunities to create the rules of the game. Being a rule-maker is far better than simply participating in the game.

Being a crypto native isn't necessarily a good thing when the industry environment is unfavorable, as it indicates a lack of experience in other sectors. The learning and financial costs of switching careers are high. While there are exceptions—some people are simply born with exceptional talent and are only suited to speculating in untapped markets—if you don't have the courage to chase trends your whole life and only want to make a quick buck in the crypto to retire, you need to distinguish whether you're earning money based on your own abilities or simply benefiting from industry trends. In this phase where making money isn't easy, having a clear self-assessment can greatly alleviate anxiety. If your skills aren't enough, hone them; learn options trading, learn Vibe coding. You might not need them this time, but these are hard skills that can help you weather market fluctuations. When the initial investment is gone, take a break, or observe other industries at low cost. Many people enter this industry very young, skipping the stage of dealing with daily necessities (including myself). We lack a proper understanding of money and have very advanced consumption habits. This industry is highly volatile; a high income this year doesn't guarantee a high income every year. But it's always difficult to go from extravagance to frugality. Once you have a certain standard of living, monthly expenses can cripple your cash flow during market downturns.

My thoughts on the recent online feud between Simplified Chinese and CT scan experts: Bystanders just want an outlet for their emotions, choosing sides based on feelings 😂 Nobody cares about the facts.
