most of my ai time is now spent figuring out how to let the ai breathe and do its thing for hours on end w/o any human intervention sometimes it works great, sometimes fails horribly the most important thing i've learned is that you need to have the right test cases to verify the work is actually legit: does the build pass? is a great first step

It is surprisingly hard to write an agent orchestrator from scratch. I have a good flow but there are so many random edge cases worth thinking about bc the agents go off the rails sometimes. Sometimes just killing a session and restarting it is more useful than an additional 100 lines of code though

While it'll consider using docs, it'll verify everything against the code just in case they're not up to date

OpenAI & Anthropic should just buy Github, break every law & train on real production code bc otherwise these models will lead to the destruction of society It's obvious where a lot of these "staff-level" patterns come from & its definitely not from codebases shaped by constraints & years of maintenance! Gemini's ability to create 3d printed models is incredible. It one shotted this phone storage box I can keep on my desk. I have so many phones I use for testing storing them turned my desk into an organized nightmare 😅

Google just proved an easy hack to improving accuracy in your prompts is to literally paste them twice 😂 <instruction + input> <instruction + input> The study says Gemini Flash Lite jumped from 21% to 97% accuracy with repetition 🤯 It has nothing to repetition. It has to do with how these unidirectional models work. Traditionally, earlier tokens can't see later tokens. So token #5 is frozen before token #100 is even processed. However, if you duplicate your prompt: [QUERY A B C D] [QUERY A B C D] A2 can look back at D1 from the first part and provide a much stronger answer. Wild stuff This works extremely well with non reasoning models. With reasoning models, not so much.
