There’s 2 types of Open Source people IME. Those who see it as a gift to the world. And those who see it as the tool of some ideology or agenda.

I know there is some overlap between open source and anti-AI activists, but I have a hard time reconciling it. My million+ open source LOC were always intended as a gift to the world. Yes, I would make arguments about how it would strengthen our communities, and the GPL would x.com/dickwhitehouse…

Built a free little mac menubar app that's helpful if you're building an agent OS / mission control system backed by SQLite tables Litebar: a macOS menubar app that gives you passive situational awareness on your SQLite databases while your agents do their thing. Point your agent to the AGENTS. md file and your mission control/sqlite schema and the agent owns the config. Your agent sets up the config.yaml file: which databases to watch, what queries to run, what thresholds matter.
