Preparations for the Prediction Market Summit are progressing smoothly. Today, I'd like to introduce some Japanese-related prediction markets. - A prediction market where you can play with points: Miraima @miraima_app Making future predictions through "point activities" rather than "betting." In Japan, where legal barriers are strict, this model uses points to predict election and sports outcomes. Since participation is possible using points earned through video viewing or other means, it has the potential to broaden the appeal of prediction markets to the general public who are not familiar with so-called overseas prediction markets. We've also heard rumors of other players preparing. Many are granting users something similar to points in some way, enabling trading. - A prediction market similar to the Western model: robin @robinpredict This prediction market focuses on Japanese topics and allows trading in USDC. It seems to be in its infancy, but I'm curious to see how it will develop in the future. If you have any other ideas, please let me know.

TaneFM episode #68 featured Roy as a guest. 📻 What struck me was the discussion about the convergence of crypto and AI. Coincidentally, both crypto and AI have privacy issues, which struck me as very relevant. Privacy isn't just a retail issue; it's a jumble of interests, involving governments, institutional investors, web2 finance, CEXs, and DEXs. (Dubai's regulations seem to be aligned with FATF standards, so Japan's regulations may be challenging as well.) Other topics discussed included prediction markets like Roomberg and sportsbooks, which have a strong presence, and stablecoins (especially non-public chains). This gave me a clearer understanding of where financial institutions in the on-chain era will be in 2026 and what they should focus on! Key words for my notes: 📝 Canton, CLARITY Act, validators incorporating LLM (AI), application layer, prediction markets as event hedging (Polymarket vs. Kalshi), private-key independent ownership (poH) through international transactions and life events, and DAT2.0

In the three years since we launched Tané, we have invested in approximately 30 seed-stage crypto startups. Amidst high uncertainty and rapid change, we have been blessed with investments that are achieving results in ecosystems such as Ethereum and Solana. To get a feel for the market, we have experimentally operated a validator and participated in DAO governance. In DAO governance, we have partnered with a16z to participate in the governance of important protocols such as Optimism and Uniswap. As a validator, we are also working with major protocols such as Solana. Most recently, we have begun developing protocols centered on DeFi. While we still have a long way to go, based on our experience over the past three years, we have summarized "What is necessary to succeed in crypto" from six perspectives. Please take a look. The biggest question about the Coinbase x Vector acquisition is, "Who will take the exit upside?" - Coinbase acquired Vector's team and technology. - Tensor Marketplace and TNSR will continue to be operated by the Tensor Foundation. - The acquisition consideration was settled on the equity side, with no direct cash outflow to TNSR holders. - Meanwhile, 100% of fees will go to the TNSR treasury, and measures such as the unclaimed token burn have been announced. In other words, the structure is such that shareholders get the best part of the business sale, while the token side "manages through supply adjustments." While Coinbase wants to sell its own ICO/launch platform, it has set a precedent of not protecting token holders in its own M&A. This may be a bit negative. As an investor, I think we should take a closer look at how tokens are treated during M&A/IPOs, and whether buyback clauses and profit shares are designed in from the start. I also think builders should clearly document in their white papers and governance how they will return value to tokens upon exit. twitter.com/ikuma/status/19921...
