Seeing a pretty interesting dynamic with a few top 20 Bittensor Subnets with 0% emission
e.g. Sportstensor, Synth, Quantum Compute
Good to note that 0% emission means that they can still pay miners & validators for services
Usually emission are emitted to the pool in TAO and alpha tokens on 1:1 basis. 0% emission means no TAO is going into the liquidity pool.
Alpha tokens can still be emitted but the sell pressure generated by these alpha tokens will be relatively higher because less TAO will be in the pool.
Those subnets with thicker liquidity pool (i.e. subnets with higher price/accumulated a good amount of TAO in the pool before system turned into Tao flow), are in an ok position despite having 0% emission. On the contrary, if you're a bottom ranking subnet, the sell pressure will definitely be very high since there's less TAO in the liquidity pool.
Honestly pretty surprised to see these 3 subnets whose products have achieved initial PMF experienced 0% emission.
