we focus so much on the few bad actors that we forget the many good builders reading the timeline lately really feels like everyone is a bad actor but the truth is the opposite lots of people here are acting in good faith and building cool things they should be the mfkn stars

look: 1. builders are super rare in crypto rn 2. chains have engineering resources + money 3. chains without apps are nothing so the most rational move is simply to mobilize your own resources to build the killer app yourself ready to bet many will do that

chains should build apps themselves

random prediction: the next great crypto products will be built by people who never cared about crypto and thats bullish

i really like layerzero approach > work with all chains > learn from them > design something interesting > ship your own shift the focus back to decentralization + performance but like any chain, win depends on what gets built on it

the only expectation CT has is price goes up

one reason tempo could work: it might attract non crypto builders bringing them in is how you can potentially find net new use cases imo they come with no baggage, fresh eyes and other ideas ideal for stablecoins where the design space is basically unlimited

getting more and more excited about tempo not because of who joined the team but because of the ecosystem + adoption they might be able bootstrap around stablecoins there has been tons of iteration, very few net new successes curious to see their approach

an all in one app with: - instant stablecoin payments - smooth IBAN <> crypto rails - a card that works everywhere - direct access to defi yields - self custody goes mainstream this year, 100%

interesting how gtm/marketing in crypto shifted quite radically (and for good) last cycle, playbook was big numbers on whatever random metric + new buzzwords dont think ive seen a single project doing this for a bit now space is healing
