Musk increased the earnings for verified KOL users, similar to Weibo's incentive program for earning money by writing posts. Verified KOL need to apply to become creators. In the crypto, ordinary users can earn several thousand dollars a month writing posts. If I applied to become a creator, earning $12,000 a month wouldn't be a problem, since even posting about contracts generates traffic. Everyone in the crypto is scrambling to apply, so most of the KOLs you admire don't actually have much money. If they did, they wouldn't be applying. (The last sentence appears to be incomplete and possibly refers to a monthly income figure.)
