The cope on the TL is the realization that purpose-built environments are all that will be relevant. Want proof? The 2 most sustainable onchain fee businesses today are: (1) perps on Hyperliquid, and (2) settlement on Canton. One is open, one permissioned – but both were built for a specific audience with unique needs. @fogo and @TheHUB not far behind here.

Funny as I tell many new builders to build on Solana as they have way more resources and captive audience than Fogo rn. Then when they want to be 10x faster and avoid all the shenanigans? Point to @FluxRPC and bridge all their users over via @wormhole Best of both worlds.

It seems the Solana Foundation is now requiring 50ms or less on many activities for stake delegation, as per the below. Know who else decided 2 years ago that sub-50ms is critical for trading? Which means Fogo is already running at 40ms blocktimes – with no need to use the “stake delegation stick” to try to force this result. I can be brief: (1) Myself, @Tristan0x , and @kdotcrypto were all Solana builders with visions to build competitive perp DEX’s aligned with Solana – and speaking the truth as to why Mainnet was broken to support perps. You’ve heard the stories of how well they treated us “builders.” Actions speak louder than words. (2) If you want to go to a place that actually treats their builders well, keep an eye on @fogo as we get our feet under ourselves.
