I've seen a lot of people discussing Binance lately, and there are many different descriptions of it from the outside, but many people don't really know the true situation inside the company. So, let me lift the lid. I'll talk about three things that impressed me from an insider's perspective as a newcomer. The first thing is about internal privileges. I haven't been with Binance for very long. Before, I thought the company was prestigious, being the world's largest and safest exchange; and I imagined the "queen of the crypto" as a well-known entrepreneur and successful person. I had heard about their customer service culture back then, but I didn't really understand it, assuming it was just Binance's public relations focus. After joining the company, I realized something was off. I often saw the top female employee posting various Twitter links in the group chat. The key point was that many of these posts were from ordinary people with little to no readership, or even just rants from obscure corners that nobody paid attention to. I thought to myself: This is too detailed! I wondered how someone as high-profile and busy as Binance's top female executives could possibly pay attention to these posts. Then it dawned on me: it's all thanks to Binance's user-centric philosophy. So now we've learned to raise various requests internally, and if anyone has difficulty providing feedback, we just use "users are like this" as a trump card, and basically no one dares to refuse. Therefore, there's a phenomenon in this company: basically, whoever is closest to the users has special privileges. The second thing is about a phone call. It was probably last summer when I was handling a slightly complicated case. I never expected that the top female colleague would directly ask me to have a conference call: "Kim, is it convenient to call her code?" (Something like that) That phone call lasted for over 40 minutes. My sister wasn't just listening to my report; she was going over the details with me, analyzing the logic, and figuring out how to solve the problem. I was a little unaccustomed to it at first. How could a lowly employee like me have a one-on-one business discussion with the big boss? It seemed too much like being on the front lines. Later, I heard from my customer service colleagues that this was actually the mildest thing. Even now, our top customer service representative still sets aside time each month to rotate through the back office as a customer service representative, personally handling work orders. So if one day you actually see a call center agent named Yi He... yes, that's her. As a newcomer, what struck me about this was that this company is a bit unsophisticated, too down-to-earth. This atmosphere permeates everyone, making it difficult to cultivate a sophisticated or high-class persona. You can only focus on practical, down-to-earth problem-solving and leave the rest to time. The third thing is about a post on WeChat Moments. I guess many people have seen the post on WeChat Moments by the "Number One Sister," where she recounts her birth and includes a picture of herself from the TV series "Princess Pearl." I only saw it after I joined the company; someone sent it to me. The last sentence stuck with me: "So, young people, keep going! You can do it too." Sigh, I really listened to that. It's not too late for someone to start learning English in their thirties; someone born into humble circumstances can still achieve great things; someone starting from a low point can still change the world... Moreover, the person in question is from your hometown and is now your boss. This combination of reality and unreality can be very motivating. Anyway, I was inspired. Even when I was going through a low point, I would always tell myself: I can do it too! So this company has a certain atmosphere of motivational drive, where you feel like you can do great things, like you haven't reached your limit yet, and like you can evolve further. These are just some of my thoughts as a new Binance user. Honestly, Binance isn't exactly a fancy company; it doesn't even have an office with a sea view. But it has a leading lady, a gene that comes from humble beginnings but is destined for greatness, the privilege of treating customers like royalty, a tradition of all-staff online customer service, and a culture that believes in freedom, humility, and hardcore values…
