Just like the successful TGEs of Aster/Avantis, which saw a significant increase in the number of Perfdex users and the emergence of new Perfdexes,
after the EdgeX/Lighter TGE, it seems likely that there will be another sporadic increase in users and some circulation of funds from airdrop profit taking.
New Perfdexes will likely see this opportunity and jump in to take advantage of it.
However, there has never been a permanent meta in the coin market, and there have always been scammers who throw cold water on the situation. Even whales and powers can suddenly change the game after a certain amount of time in this market.
Ultimately, I think it could eventually become a game of bomb-throwing.
In conclusion, I want to caution against approaching the sporadic appearance of new Perfdexes after the EdgeX/Lighter TGE with a FOMO mindset.
Since the meta could shift at any moment, it's crucial to strategically diversify your airdrop portfolio across various sectors.
Or, perhaps, finding a product like Variational, which offers a distinct, proprietary model, among the potentially sporadic PerpDex offerings, could be the answer. (Of course, there's no guarantee that the results will be positive.)
The above is ultimately my subjective opinion. Above all, I hope that edgeX and Lighter's TGEs go well and energize the overall market.
