Blast is a Layer2 network based on Optimistic Rollups launched by the founder of Blur at the end of 2023. Once launched, it attracted a lot of attention.
Unlike other L2s, users can automatically earn interest on assets placed in Blast. Coupled with the stimulation of airdrop activities, Blast's TVL has skyrocketed in a short period of time.
According to the official tweet released today, blast has confirmed that the airdrop will start on June 26. Due to the delay compared to the originally planned airdrop in May, the official will increase the airdrop allocation share to compensate.
Currently, the first round of deposit activities has ended, and there are not many activities left to participate in. Gold points are one of the more cost-effective activities.
The official also mentioned that there are two more rounds of gold points to be distributed soon. Users who want to participate in the blast airdrop should not miss the last chance!
1. What are Golden Points?
Gold points are similar to ordinary points in the first phase of the event. Blast will give half of the total airdrop in the form of gold points to various projects in the Blast ecosystem to help these projects develop, while continuing to attract users to participate in activities and increase TVL.
Distribution
Gold points are distributed approximately every 2 to 3 weeks. Three phases have been distributed since March. The first two phases were 10 million each, and the third phase of gold points distributed on May 10 was as high as 15 million.
Exchange rate and price
According to estimates on the official page, the current exchange ratio of gold points to ordinary points is about 1:37282 points (10812/0.29), while the previous ratio was about 1:35000. This shows that ordinary points have been issued more, or in other words, ordinary points have been issued faster than gold points.
If we calculate according to this ratio, taking the point price on the Whales Market as 0.0000878, we can calculate that currently 1 gold point is approximately 3.27U .
Although in the second phase of the activity, users can automatically obtain points by directly placing funds in the Blast ecosystem, but as more and more ordinary points can be exchanged for 1 gold point, it is more cost-effective to obtain gold points from projects in the interactive ecosystem.
2. Interactive Project Recommendations
Open the Blast official website address and scroll down to see the gold points distribution of all projects in the current ecosystem.
Usually dex gets more points, followed by social applications. According to the gold point distribution of balst on May 10, we can see that its distribution weight is indeed the same.
The interaction of Dex is relatively simple, mainly trading or saving money, while the SocialFI project can generally get more gold points and has more ways to play. It is currently very popular on Blast, so I recommend everyone to experience the Social FI project on Blast.
Of course, if you have already pledged funds in the Blast ecosystem and want to get more ordinary points, you can experience projects in various categories to get a multiplier on ordinary points.
Each category has a 2x bonus, with a total of 12 bonus opportunities, up to a maximum of 24x.
However, the opportunity for multiple bonuses is not open all at once, but is gradually unlocked over time, and users can only get multiple bonuses if they complete interactions of the corresponding categories. Therefore, the dilution of points may not be as serious as calculated, but at least the cost-effectiveness of ordinary points is far less than that of gold points.

3. SocialFI project introduction and interactive demonstration
Currently, the more popular social applications in the blast ecosystem are Fantasy and DistrictOne (hereinafter referred to as D1). The following will take these two projects as examples to briefly introduce them, and through actual operations, demonstrate their basic gameplay to help users obtain gold points.
1. Fantasy
Fantasy is a popular social card game on blast. Each card corresponds to a KOL on Twitter. The core gameplay is to buy KOL cards, collect at least 5 cards, participate in the regularly held leagues, and get league rewards, including cards, gold points, fantasy's own points rewards, and even direct ETH.
In addition to the gameplay of fantasy itself, since the purchased cards are actually a type of NFT, users can also put NFTs in Jackpot (Blast's official regular lottery event) for lottery, and they will also get a lot of gold points if they win. The winners of the first period and the latest eighth period are fantasy, and the winning rate is still quite high.
1. Register an account
Open the project's official website. You must have an invitation code to join. After entering the invitation code, a wallet address will be generated. Users need to transfer money to this address through the blast network, otherwise they will not be able to complete operations such as card purchases.
If you do not have funds on the blast chain, you can complete the cross-chain fund transfer through the third-party cross-chain bridge MiniBridge.

For example, if I transfer ETH from Polygon to Blast, the normal fee is only 0.00041E, which is about 1.2U. In addition, I previously held the NFT of Via cross-chain bridge, so I can get another 10% discount here, and the final fee is 1.08U.

2. Purchase Cards
There are two ways for users to obtain cards, one is to directly purchase card packs, and the other is to purchase individual cards on the market.
If you buy card packs, each pack will have 5 cards, and the price will fluctuate by about 10%. The current price is 0.363E.
There is a chance to get rare cards when purchasing card packs. Currently, the top priced cards are mostly between 10 and 20E. If you are lucky enough to get these cards, you can quickly make your money back, but the probability is relatively small, so it is not recommended to buy them directly.
If you buy cards directly in the market, you can change the price from low to high.
At the same price, choosing cards with higher combat power is the core logic of buying cards.
In addition, the same cards also have different levels, namely common, rare, epic and legendary.
Although it is the same KOL, due to different rarities, its price and combat effectiveness have also increased. Pay attention to these when buying cards to avoid buying ordinary cards at a high price.
While purchasing cards, you can also click on the card to read the KOL’s Twitter content to avoid encountering accounts with false data.
The combat effectiveness of a card is composed of the comprehensive data performance of the KOL Twitter account within 7 days. Fake accounts may all have fake data, and the price may collapse in the later period.
You can also pay special attention to the inflation coefficient. The larger the inflation coefficient, the more additional issuance of this card will occur.
Once the market crashes in the later stage, the price will easily collapse, so it is better to choose cards with an expansion coefficient of less than 20.
In short, the key to choosing cards in the market is to try to choose currently cheap and highly effective cards, while ensuring that the price of the cards can rise in the future (at least not collapse).
3. Participate in the league
Click "Tournament" on the left to enter the league interface. The current league that can be participated in is in the "register" status. Click the register button and place the 5 cards with the highest combat effectiveness to complete the participation.
In the end, the league will rank players based on the total combat power of the five cards and issue corresponding rewards. The reward for the B icon is gold points.
Please note that the rules of each league are different, and you can see the detailed information in the specific interface.
For example, in the latest league, the card level is required to be only ordinary cards, and the total star level of the five cards must not exceed 20.
4. Sign-in Rewards
Click "Rewards" on the left and you will see a sign-in-like interface where you can earn fantasy points. You can claim them by retweeting and verifying.
The one-time points reward in the lower right corner can be obtained by completing tasks and obtaining points as long as you participate in the league and buy and sell cards. The 0.1E deposit task is not yet open.
Although only fantasy points are being issued for the time being, the webpage also provides images of gold points, but the reward is still in the "Coming Soon" status.
When the gold points rewards are opened later, this will also be a place to collect gold points, so don’t miss it.
2. District One
D1 is a social platform similar to Friend Tech on blast, and the team behind it is the original team of the on-chain leverage protocol Open Leverage.
Open Leverage has received investment from Binance Labs and has issued tokens before, but the price of the token $OLE has been falling since it went online.
After the launch of D1, the price of $OLE has risen sharply. The reason is that the entire D1 project is using $OLE for staking, rewards, and consumption. Of course, this also indirectly shows the popularity of the project.
They also received a lot of gold points from blast. According to the data on the official page, the three distributions add up to about 2.5 million gold points, and only 288,000 have been distributed so far, so it is still early to participate.
D1 plans to distribute all gold points to users who participate in the project, and with the support of the DWF organization, D1 may currently be considered the leader in the blast ecological social track, and it is very necessary to participate.
1. Register an account
The first step is to get an invitation code and register an account. The first registration requires you to bind your Twitter account and follow the D1 official Twitter account. You also need to pay a 0.005E account opening fee.
If you don’t have funds in blast, you can use the MiniBridge cross-chain bridge mentioned above. The handling fee is only about 1U, which is relatively cheap.
After the payment is completed, D1 will give you an initial score based on your Twitter data and wallet status. D1 points are called gems.
For example, my initial gem reward here is 3540, which can be increased by 50% after posting the tweet.
2. Basic interface and gameplay
Since D1 has no Chinese interface and there are many ways to play, I have marked the basic interface in Chinese. When understanding various ways to play, you can refer to the Chinese in the picture for quick positioning.
There are several possible ways to play:
a. How to play by picking up money from passers-by
After entering the channel, you can enter most channels by staking 1,000 gems for free. The staked gems can be seen at "My Stake". Once staked, it is applicable to multiple channels. When entering a new channel, there may be a pledge prompt, but clicking here will not repeat the pledge of gems.
Then join the daily meeting. Ordinary users can participate twice a day, and each meeting requires 200 gems. The meeting will start every 2 hours to ensure that users in any time zone will not miss it.
After participating, you can receive the corresponding rewards after 15 minutes, which is about 500 to 800 gems. After deducting the 200 gems you spent, you will make a net profit of 300 to 600 gems.
In addition to the gems from the gathering, some channel hosts will also randomly send out red envelopes with no threshold, because the gems allocated by the channel every day will expire the next day if they are not sent out.
Some require you to buy channel stock, while others require you to have participated in the channel's rallies.
b. Sentinel Referee Gameplay
There is a sentinel referee office in the lower left corner of each channel. This is a recently updated gameplay. Users can bet gems by catching robots. Once the robot is caught, the user who bets "Ban" can share the gems with the user who bets "NoBan".
Whether to ban an account is decided by a vote of shareholders. Of course, the host has full decision-making power. The refereeing lasts for 1 hour. If you have more time, you can join some large channels and watch these referees vote.
c. Advanced money picking gameplay
The LP that pledges OLE/ETH at the top sOLE is about 150U.
It is equivalent to opening a full membership. You can participate in 4 gatherings every day, and you can receive 3 times more rally rewards each time. Some groups will also send red envelopes specifically to pledgers, as shown in the reward collection picture above.
In addition, pledgers can vote for the channel in the "Channel Information" section to make the channel bigger and stronger, so that the channel can distribute more gems every day. In addition, in order to encourage pledgers to airdrop to their own channels, some channels will send gem rewards to voting users separately.
Similarly, buying shares of a single channel can also increase the reward by 3 times, and add it to the 3 times reward of the pledger. Ordinary users are rewarded 500 gems for one rally, and you can receive 500+500x6=3500 gems, which is 7 times more efficient.
In addition, shareholders can get channel dividends. Every time someone buys or sells the channel's stocks, there will be a $OLE token red envelope reward, but the quantity is small, so you need to be fast. For the reward style, please refer to the reward collection picture above.
d. How to grab the first mine
Click on the top "Space" and you can see that many new channels are about to appear, some of which are channels that have just been launched, and some of which are channels that have not yet been sold. You can buy at a low price in the early stage, and sell at a high price after the price goes up to obtain price difference income.
It is necessary to focus on the account data of the KOL corresponding to the channel. The channels of large KOLs or some project parties will have relatively high popularity, and the probability of price increases in the future is high.
For example, SynFutures, the on-chain perpetual contract exchange mentioned in the previous Biteye article, won the championship of the Blast BigBang event and also received $37 million in financing from well-known institutions.
Once a well-known project in the blast ecosystem announces that it will enter D1, it is likely that you will make money in the future by buying stocks of their channels as soon as possible.
e. Invitation gameplay
Click "LinkUP" at the top to see your invitation code. Different from general invitations, D1 combines sOLE staking to create a "stealing method".
The main gameplay is as follows:
If a user invites others normally, he can get 60% of the reward of the first-level downline and 15% of the reward of the second-level downline.
But if you are a staker, you are in a stronger position and can get 75% of the first-level rewards, but the second-level rewards are reduced to 10%;
If you have not pledged, and the person you invited is a pledger, then the invitee is more powerful and you can only get 50% of the first-level rewards, but the second-level rewards increase by 35%;
If you and the invitee are both pledgers, then you, as the inviter, are still the stronger party and can get 70% of the first-level rewards and 20% of the second-level rewards.
Moreover, the rewards obtained through invitation can be directly collected and sold, while the rewards obtained by shareholders cannot be directly sold for the time being. This is roughly how it works, mainly to let users pledge assets.
f. Turning the tables
Open a channel yourself and let others buy your shares. As a moderator, you can get 3% of the gems generated by the channel as a reward.
The advantage is that if you create a matrix account, you can get all the rewards, but your Twitter account needs to have a certain number of followers. Currently, the account with the least followers is about 2,000.
In addition, D1 is now quite good at catching robots. From its introduction of the Sentinel Trial gameplay, it can be seen that there are many robots in this project.
3. Exchange of gems and gold points
Gems can be exchanged for gold points. According to the feedback from players in the previous round, about 1,000 gems can be exchanged for 1 gold point. However, in the new round, the official has made a lot of updates. At the same time, it is not clear whether the increase in ordinary points by blast will affect the project party’s allocation of gold points. For now, you can only get as many gems as possible.
