According to previous news, Matter Labs has filed trademark applications for "ZK" in 9 countries, claiming that the term "zero-knowledge" is the company's exclusive intellectual property. Polyhedra, Polygon and StarkWare issued a joint statement stating that ZK should not be a trademark of a company and "should continue to be a public product."
