The first step, cross-chain

The fee for withdrawing ETH to the ARB chain is the lowest.

At the same time, there is also a third-party cross-chain bridge that supports crossing from the ARB chain to the Taiko chain.
If all conditions permit, we will naturally choose the best route.
(As of July 16, no exchange has opened ETH-TAIKO network withdrawals, so withdrawals are still mainly based on other available 2-layer networks, and then cross-chain to Taiko.)
I choose to use orbiter as the cross-chain tool this time. You can choose other third-party cross-chain tools or official bridges according to your own preferences, but you must pay attention to safety. It is recommended to go to the official Twitter for all links.

Check the amount, the network used, and the handling fee. Once there are no problems, you can start cross-chain.
Confirm the information twice, if there is no problem, click Confirm to start the cross-chain process.
After confirmation, the Metamask Wallet will pop up the on-chain interaction information. Please check the interaction URL and contract information, as well as the amount, again. If you encounter a fake website and contract, there is still room for recovery at this step.
If there is no problem, click Confirm to submit the cross-chain data to the chain for interaction.

After the cross-chain is completed, switch to the Taiko network to see the balance (if the Taiko network is not configured, open the activity page of Popp Social Summer and link the wallet to automatically configure the Taiko network. There is a link below)

Step 2: mintTBA
After the cross-chain is completed, the next step is to mintTBA. First, open the social summer activity page, link the wallet to automatically configure the Taiko network information and switch to Taiko

Check several important information points step by step
Is the wallet link correct?
Is there a 50% discount for the first order? (If you already hold TBA, you will have to buy it at the original price, which is not cost-effective. It is recommended to open a new account and buy it at half the price)

In addition to ETH, you can also choose to use mixpay to pay. (You can use 40+ assets from 7 chains for payment.)
Personally, I suggest that this is the best choice when taiko assets are insufficient, because if your taiko balance is 0, even if you use mixpay to mint TBA, you still need some gas to complete other subsequent on-chain operations. After all, you still have to do tasks, so it’s always a good idea to keep some gas, so I chose to cross 0.0038ETH.

After confirming that the information is correct, click Pay Now. The Metamask will pop up a confirmation message to check the network, payment amount, gas, etc. If there is no problem, click Confirm (it is recommended to use the officially recommended gas, and it is not recommended to change it by yourself, because it involves the creation, mint and transfer of multiple NFTs, so the gas fee will be high.)
After minting is completed, you can check the casting record and a prompt box will pop up. Follow the instructions to claim the new treasure chest reward.

Next, don’t miss a few key steps.
First participate in activity 1: Invite to get a reward
(Optional) Invite friends: If you think social summer is interesting and are willing to share it with your friends, you can copy your invitation link. When your friends participate and mint TBA, you can get 20% of the TBA fee as a commission reward.
Remember to copy your invitation code and send it to the other party to fill out. He will also receive 50 SD as a reward.

After completion, return to the summer page and click check for the TG task.
Next are the three tasks at the bottom. I don’t understand what they mean yet, but just follow them. Click follow TBA to complete them.
It will pop up a small pop-up window for on-chain contract transactions, and you can complete it by paying some gas (so you must leave some gas on the chain)
After the chain is confirmed, it will automatically refresh, and then go to participate in the next mantle event and click to jump
To do this, just go to Mantle's activity page. If you are interested, you can participate in activities such as staking. Once you have opened Mantle's activity page, you have completed it. Just come back to the summer activity page and click check to complete the task.
Next is the last task, mint the TBA of mantle. After clicking on minting, you will be redirected to the mantle page. Then link the wallet and click on minting SBT. It will switch to the mantle network. The gas fee is almost negligible. It just so happens that there is a little MNT in this account from the previous mantle event, so it was paid directly. If you don’t have MNT, you can consider the following two solutions:
The first is to buy MNT on the exchange and transfer it to the chain. Bybit and other exchanges have them, and you can also go directly to the mantle mainnet.
The second is to find some websites for buying gas, and buy MNT on the mantle chain as gas to participate.
After completion, return to the summer page, where the brand reward tasks have been completed, and all that remains is to wait for the project party to issue the rewards.
