The crypto currency market has performed strongly this year, with the total market capitalization having increased by about 44% so far, an increase of over $720 billion. Compared to the same period last year, the total market capitalization of cryptocurrencies has increased by more than 104%, adding over $1.2 trillion since last July. Bitcoin has been actively trading since the approval of the US spot ETF in January, the fourth halving event in April, and the release of Rune. Bitcoin's scalability and the decentralized finance (DeFi) sector have also become more active. Accordingly, Bitcoin's market share has grown from around 50% to over 55% this year.
