Odaily reports that MicroStrategy is seeking to sell its Class A common stock to raise up to $2 billion in funds to purchase more Bitcoin and for general corporate purposes. In a regulatory filing with the US SEC, MicroStrategy did not disclose a timeline for the stock sales or reveal how much of the proceeds will be used to buy Bitcoin. Previously in June, MicroStrategy announced the issuance of $500 million in unsecured senior convertible notes to purchase more Bitcoin, which was later increased to $650 million the next day.
