Odaily Odaily News: James Butterfill, head of research at CoinShares, posted on the X platform that Bitcoin had a net outflow of $165 million this week, with a monthly net outflow of $544 million, while Ethereum had a net inflow of $175.5 million this week, with a monthly net inflow of $170.6 million. The first two days of trading after the market fell showed that investors were selling Bitcoin and buying Ethereum instead. Overall, there was an inflow of $8 million this week and a monthly net outflow of $377 million.

According to Farside Investors' monitoring, as of the time of writing, the data for the US spot Bitcoin ETF and spot Ethereum ETF (August 6) is as follows:

Spot Bitcoin ETF: GBTC had a net outflow of $32.2 million; ARKB had a net outflow of $28.9 million; EZBC had a net outflow of $23 million; BITB and BTC had no inflows or outflows.

Spot Ethereum ETF: ETHE had a net outflow of $39.7 million; EZET had a net inflow of $1 million; ETH had a net inflow of $4.7 million; ETHW and CETH had no inflows or outflows.

Yesterday, GBTC had a net outflow of $32.2 million, and ETHE had a net outflow of $39.7 million.

Yesterday, although Ethereum (ETH) briefly dropped to $2,111 in Taiwan time in the morning, after the US stock market opened, ETH did not continue to plummet along with the US stocks. Instead, the Ethereum spot ETF recorded a net inflow of $48.8 million, the second-highest inflow since its listing on 7/23.
